During my Bachelor, I developed a clear understanding of who I am as a person and as a designer. I discovered that I am driven by the ambition to contribute to a more inclusive and equal society, with a particular interest in health and wellbeing. This has become the foundation of my development as a human-centered designer.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology. Throughout the programme, I am further developing my human-centered and participatory design approach while exploring how qualitative research, quantitative data and emerging technologies can complement one another. My current focus lies in conducting research within the health and healthcare domain, where understanding the experiences, needs and capabilities of the people involved is essential for creating meaningful solutions. To further deepen my skills on these topics, I am also following three courses at the University of Twente.
From February to July 2027, I will am planning to do my graduation project. I aim to collaborate with a healthcare organisation on a project related to patient care and experience, involving patients, healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders throughout the design process. Through this project and within my future career, I want to create products and systems that empower people, support individual differences and contribute to healthcare that is more inclusive, accessible and human-centred.
