For the course Engineering Design I designed with a group of 5 EcoExplorer.
Our conducted research shows that people struggle with planning their trip when discovering a new city. Besides, some of the people gets distracted by their phone while planning and discovering the city. These issues contribute to a loss of quality while being on vacation.
To solve this problem, we introduce EcoExplorer. The travel buddy who guides people to the hidden gems of Amsterdam without the phone distractions.
Choose an activity category, answer a trivia question correctly, and choose one of the 4 suggested activities. Acting sustainably gets rewarded, since points can be earned. The more sustainable, the more points. Users can exchange those points for a sale at one of our sustainable partners.
With 3 EcoExplorer booths throughout Amsterdam, users can start their unforgettable journey wherever they want. The product can be rented for 6.99 euros per day with a deposit of 20 euros.
