The internship at Philips Diagnostic X-ray design team consists of an assignment to help design a new interaction type for a new concept. The hardware of this system is already designed and consists of multiple Philips systems in one new product. During the internship, the focus was on the initial phase of the design process: from doing research and investigating the user’s needs to ideation and concept development.
This allowed me to deepen my knowledge in this direction, which I am most passionate about, and to focus on the expertise areas of User & Society and Creativity & Aesthetics. In the end, a final concept was developed.
