RageRhythm

Course: Aesthetics of Interaction
Year: 2024
Group project

RageRhythm was designed in an iterative process by using methods such as creating experience prototypes, extreme characters, roleplaying, and interaction relabeling. Learning those different methods helped to think more outside the box.
RageRhythm is an experience to control anger. First, the anger will be released by throwing the cubes. The cubes will hit the target with a loud bang and fall apart to control destructive behaviour. Next, the cubes will start shaking and

making sounds. The harder the cubes are thrown, the louder the sounds. The sounds decrease gradually until a steady and calm rhythm is reached.
The combination of the sounds, texture, and scent of the moss provides a calming experience. After feeling calm again, the cubes should be picked up, and a new structure can be built and placed on the tray. This structure works as a reminder that you can control your anger.
