Course: Creative electronics
Year: 2023
Duo project
Through this course, I learned how to work with different sensors and how to implement them in a project. Improving my ability to create interactive prototypes for user testing.
This resulted in The Soundless Beeps, a steering wheel cover designed for people with a hearing disability to replace the beeps when the car approaches an object.
The cover includes LEDs and vibration motors that turn on when the car is too close to an object. The closer the car is, the more LEDs turn on. A distance sensor is used to determine the distance to objects.
